Brad PowerBrad Power works with executives to improve operations and harness the potential of information technology. With over twenty years of management consulting and research experience across a variety of industries around the world, he addresses the important business opportunities and problems of clients by combining human, technological, and business perspectives. Brad helps clients bridge the gap between business strategy and information technology, through business strategy development, business reengineering, global alliance management, organization design, information technology strategy, and outsourcing. His experience in working across organizational boundaries adds a special dimension to the management of the political and human aspects of change. As an example of his work, Brad recently advised an alliance of a dozen of the worlds largest airlines, where he developed the alliance's vision and plan for seamless customer service, its information technology strategy, and designed and helped implement its new information technology organization. One of his key contributions was helping the management board and the chief information officers align across the partner organizations' many differences in company strategies and company, country, and functional cultures. From 1981 to 1997, Brad worked for CSC Index, the premier business reengineering firm. Following a number of independent consulting assignments, in 2001 Brad co-founded FocusIT Group, a consulting firm focused on the management of information technology. Brad has an M.B.A. from UCLA and a B.S. from Stanford University. |
